Mom!!!! I am so Lonely

It was one of the best mornings today after
heavy rain and thunder showers in the night
which made the morning slightly filled with
cold breeze. I was feeling a bit relaxed after
the whole night work as I stepped out of my
Office. The cab was on time and in not more
than ten minutes I was at the doorstep of my
sweet home. There was nothing but just one
thought in my mind,” its a good time to take a nap”. With this thought I entered my room and
in next two minutes I was snoring heavily. It was around ten'o clock when my friend
Pawan called me up and asked me to come to
his place as soon as possible. His voice was
trembling as if he has been crying for a long
time. Without wasting a single minute, I ran
towards his home. He lives nearby. When I
reached his place, there was a bunch of people
standing outside the gate and there was loud
voices coming out from the house.i rushed
towards the gate and saw.......she was lying
there on the ground .quite, no sign of
movement.” My mom is dead." cried Pawan
was still in a shock! What had
happened???When I realized the situation, I
found tears rolling down my cheeks. I
recovered myself and tried to console my friend.

It was like a disaster for my
friend. Nobody in his family seems to be
affected by the incident. The one which was
deeply affected was my friend's sister,Nidhi
as she was very close to her mother. She was
continuously crying like a small baby. The one
who gave birth to her, who taught her to speak
and to walk is lying in front of her
helpless,motionless,unable to speak and
walk. After sometime everybody was ready to
take the dead body to the crematorium where
the dead bodies are burnt as according to the
Hindu religion. Nidhi was shouting and
yelling,” where are you taking my mother?” but
Nobody heard her cries and the dead body of
her mother was now in the crematorium and
all the relatives and friends were now in rush
to get back to their homes as soon as possible.
They all were getting bore standing and
watching a dead body burning. After few
moments the priest or the pundit asked
Pawan’s mother to do the "kapaal kriya" in
which he has to break the skull of the dead
body by a bamboo stick. I just thought if the
soul of pawan's mother is watching all
this, what must be she thinking?? "I served him
food and helped him at every point of time
throughout my whole life and this is what I
am getting in return.” but that is a ritual. Uptil
evening everything is done and everybody is
back home. I found Nidhi still at the same
place where we left her. She was sitting on the
bare ground, her face swollen, eyes red due to
crying. She has lost everything, a mother, a
friend, a sister.....now nobody is there in the
home with whom she can share something
personal or anybody who can teach her or help
her during work. There is no female left except
her in her home. She is all alone, silent and
missing her mother.......

Taj Mahal-A Tribute To Beauty

Tourists from all over the world visit Agra not to see the ruins of the red sandstone fortress built by the Mughal emperors but to make a pilgrimage to Taj Mahal, India’s most famous architectural wonder, in a land where magnificent temples and edificies abound to remind visitors about the rich civilization of a country that is slowly but surely lifting itself into an industrialized society.
Taj Mahal means "Crown Palace" and is in fact the most well preserved and architecturally beautiful tomb in the world. It is best described by the English poet, Sir Edwin Arnold, as "Not a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions of an emperor’s love wrought in living stones." It is a celebration of woman built in marble and that’s the way to appreciate it.
Construction began in 1631 and was completed in 22 years. Twenty thousand people were deployed to work on it. The material was brought in from all over India and central Asia and it took a fleet of 1000 elephants to transport it to the site. It was designed by the Iranian architect Ustad Isa and it is best appreciated when the architecture and its adornments are linked to the passion that inspired it. It is a "symbol of eternal love".
As a tribute to a beautiful woman and as a monument for enduring love, the Taj reveals its subtleties when one visits it without being in a hurry. The rectangular base of Taj is in itself symbolic of the different sides from which to view a beautiful woman. The main gate is like a veil to a woman’s face which should be lifted delicately, gently and without haste on the wedding night. In indian tradition the veil is lifted gently to reveal the beauty of the bride. As one stands inside the main gate of Taj, his eyes are directed to an arch which frames the Taj.
The Taj is pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden when the moon shines. These changes, they say, depict the different moods of woman.

friends take a look at this piece of beauty and if you have any comment or query please post it in my comments

A Hectic Job....

i thought several times before writing this as i was not able to understand that what am i doing.i am working as an executive in an international call centre in the night shift.my job is to make calls to U.K and U.S and sell the product to the people living there.and i am doing my work with full devotion and dedication, however the problem is that sometimes people start shouting at us.basically telemarketing is a very good source of income for the government of the country to which calls are being made.people think that we don't have got any work and we are disturbing them.they don't think that it's just for their own convenience that they are getting products right ahead at their doorsteps which they want and they need not to go anywhere to get that product.this is for their benefit.and if somebody don't want that product then simply go ahead and say that i don't want it.what is the need of shouting or abusing.during our training session we are taught that u should treat the customer as a guest and should never say anything against him or never override his talk.that doesn't means that the customer has got the full authority to say anything to us.sometimes i feel guilty that am i really disturbing them or trying to get into their personal life.but this is my job and just foning at somebody's place doesn't means that i am breaking their privacy and after all this for their benefit and if they don't want these type of calls, they can use the D.N.C or CALL INTERCEPTOR servies.so am i really a CULPRIT??????

Pakistan In Darkness

Yesterday in the evening(Indian time), when Benazir Bhutto was returning to her car,she was assassinated in a gun and suicide attack minutes after she addressed a huge election rally in Rawalpindi. Shots were fired at her before a suicide bomber blew himself up near her bullet-proof jeep as it pulled out of the Liaquat Bagh gate. Bullets pierced her neck and damaged her trachea, which proved fatal. The attacker blew himself up as guards attempted to overpower him. More than 28 people were killed and some 100 injured, including Benazir’s political secretary Naheed Khan and Sherry Rehman in the attack. Benazir Bhutto was rushed to the nearby Rawalpindi General Hospital (RGH) where she passed away during surgery. One thing is sure that the hope for democratic Pakistan has been buried now with the body of Benazir Bhutto. She was the last hope for the Pakistani public to bring a democratic government. Now as she is dead, the former president, Mr.Parvez Musharraf will not let Navaz Sharif get into the elections and therefore,Pakistani future will go back into a dark tunnel........................................
